Ludovic Louis was born in Le Havre, France on November 9th.

He is a musician, composer and arranger.

He started his trumpet journey at 8 years old. He was born into a family passionate about music; his grandfather played the violin and his dad loved to listen to different types of music. After studying jazz at his hometown music school  "Le JUPO", with Alain Loisel, and at the School of Music with Sylvain Maillard, he got his classical trumpet degree in 2000.

Ludovic decided to settle in Paris in 2003, which has allowed him to work with such artists as Orishas, Jimmy Cliff, Florent Pagny, Tryo, Yannick Noah and more recently Slimane and Christophe Maé.

In 2009, Ludovic met Lenny Kravitz with whom he travelled the world, sharing the stage for nearly 10 years. The rock star spotlighted Ludovic’s talent with a solo improvised performance at each show, where his solos electrified entire stadiums and festivals including the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey,  Angel Stadium, Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza festival, Montreux Jazz Fest, and many more where crowds were enamored by his musicality.

In 2012, Ludovic had the opportunity to play a solo for world-renowned icons Muhammad Ali and Quincy Jones, in Las Vegas during the "Black and White America Tour."

Ludovic decided to migrate to Los Angeles in 2013, collaborating with Kanye West, Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, Robin Thicke, The Blacks Eyed Peas, Simple Plan, The Meters, and many other talented artists.

Throughout his career, Ludovic has performed on various TV programs including The Grammys, The Voice, American Music Awards, American Idol, as well as being a member of the house band of Dancing With The Stars, with director Ray Chew, on ABC since 2016.

In 2020, a new opportunity presented itself and Ludovic made his debut as an actor in the Netflix Originals series "The Eddy," where he embodies the character of Ludo, trumpeter of a jazz club. The first two episodes were directed by Damien Chazelle; the original music was written by Glen Ballard and Randy Kerber.

In 2021, Ludovic will release his first Album "Rebirth," which will bring together the many influences of soul, jazz, funk, Caribbean music, and all the musical encounters of his life.
